At Botanica Caridad, we take great care in preparing and packaging each order with intention, respect, and attention to detail. Please review our policies below before placing your order.
Shipping Policy
Shipping Locations
We currently ship within the continental United States and Puerto Rico.
At this time, we do not offer international shipping and do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after being placed.
In most cases, orders are shipped the next business day.
Shipping Methods & Rates
- Shipping is handled via USPS
- Customers may select standard or expedited shipping at checkout
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout
In-Store Pickup
We offer in-store pickup as an option at checkout.
Tracking
All shipped orders include a tracking number, which will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
Shipping Responsibility
Once an order has been shipped, the carrier (USPS) is responsible for delivery.
Botanica Caridad is not liable for lost, stolen, or delayed packages.
If an issue occurs during transit, customers must file a claim directly with USPS.
Product Care & Disclaimer
We sell candles, oils, glass items, and other spiritual tools that may be delicate in nature.
While we package all items with the utmost care, the following may occur during transit:
- Minor cosmetic damage (e.g., candle sweating, slight cracks, label wear)
- Shifting within packaging due to the nature of materials
These minor imperfections do not affect the spiritual function or intended use of the product and are not considered defects.
Spiritual Services Policy
All spiritual services are final sale and non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- Tarot readings
- Ifá and Erindilogun divination (Isese and Afro-Cuban Lukumí traditions)
- Spiritual consultations
- Custom spell work
Due to the personalized and energetic nature of these services, no refunds or exchanges will be issued.
Returns & Exchanges
Eligibility
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging
- Returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase
- Proof of purchase (receipt) is required
Non-Returnable Items
- Perishable goods
- Custom spell work items
- Spiritual services
- Clearance items
- Personalized items
These items are final sale.
Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns and cancellations unless the error is ours.
Order Cancellations
If you request a cancellation after your order has been processed or prepared for shipment, we will make every effort to stop the shipment.
- If successful, a 15% restocking fee will apply
- If the order has already shipped, it must follow the standard return process
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- We only cover return shipping if the item is:
- Damaged upon arrival, or
- Incorrect due to our error
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Store credit may be offered with authorization
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the error is ours and pre-approved
Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items
We carefully package every order, but due to the nature of packaging materials and certain bulky items, products may occasionally shift or be overlooked.
Important:
- Please inspect your order thoroughly upon arrival
- Verify all items against your packing slip before discarding packaging
If there is an issue:
- Missing or incorrect items must be reported within 5 days of delivery
- Customers may be required to provide photos for verification
